Elliott Bazan

Elliott Bazan a beloved father, husband, son, uncle and brother, passed away on March 21, 2024. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25,2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26,2024 in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the San Marcos City Cemetery on Saturday, March 30,2024.

Elliott was born August 24,1961 in Rio Grande City, the son of the late Esteban and Martina Bazan. He was a 1979 graduate of Levelland High School and went on to graduate from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Architecture degree.  

One of his major accomplishments was being one of the seven (original) founding fathers of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity that was founded on November 25, 1987 on the campus of Texas Tech University. The fraternity was originally founded to be a service fraternity primarily focused on the Hispanic community. 

He married the love of his life, Veronica “Vern” Alcazar on May 1994 in Levelland, Texas. They moved to San Marcos where they had their son, Ian in 1995. 

Elliott is preceded in death by his parents Esteban and Martina Bazan; and is survived by his wife Veronica, son Ian, his three sisters Liz, Lila, Evelyn, and two brothers Steve and Eli.
