Donna McWilliams

Donna Annette McWilliams passed from this life on January 14th, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.

She was a loving Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. With a servant’s heart she loved deep and tended to those that she cherished. She was a fierce protector and stood firm for what was right and just. She could feel those that hurt and would always leave the 99 to seek out the one. She would join the fight with you, against you or stand in front of you.

Donna was a social worker and advocate for numerous people over the years. She passionately ministered to those in need throughout her life. To know her was to be loved by her, and she championed for you in the darkest times. She avidly participated in and supported the following ministries: Live Free Indeed, Bethel Fellowship, Sanctuary Cities, The Hub, Encounters, Walk to Emmaus and Church on the Rock.

Donna was born on June 13th, 1957, in Lamesa, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; Jimmie Don Alderman and Wanda Fay Jolly, husband James McWilliams and bonus son Marcus McWilliams. She is survived by sisters Cathy Shannon of Arlington, Lorrie Clements of Amarillo, Gerry Alderman of Levelland, her children Christopher Cody Lewis and wife, Crystal, of Levelland; Christal Vance, and husband Garrett Vance of Levelland; Brandy Cloud, and husband Grant Cloud, of Rockwall; bonus daughter Jessi McWilliams of Ohio; granddaughters, Allegra Vance, Jade Vance, Cerys Lewis, Caylin Lewis, Cambrie Lewis, Madison Cloud, Anna Cloud, Emily Cloud, and her only grandson, Isaac Vance; great-grandchildren Emmary, John and Willow and one baby boy on the way; along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be Thursday, January 20th from 6-8 p.m. at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be Friday, January 21st at 2 p.m. at Krestridge Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Levelland Cemetery.
