Donald Whittenburg

LEVELLAND -Funeral services for Donald Neil Whittenburg, 77 of Levelland will be held at 2 pm Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary DeLay officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 7 to 8 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Krestridge Funeral Home. He passed away October 25,2016 in Lubbock, he was born November 23,1938 in Levelland, Texas to the late George and Golda Whittenburg.

Don graduated from Levelland High School in 1957 and attended South Plains College. After graduation he farmed and started Whittenburg Insurance Agency in the Seminole and Lamesa area.
Don married Barbara Gonzales, April 28, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the Transformation Church of Lubbock.

Don is survived by his wife, Barbara K. Whittenburg, children; Joseph Esquivel and wife, Jerrian, Luis Esquivel and wife, Linda, Regina DeHoyos and husband, Rocky, Rebecca Bower and husband Gary, Sherry Malphurs, John Mark McDonald and wife, Anna Maria two sisters; Florine Edwards and husband Glenn, Belenda Lane and husband Jesse, seventeen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests memorial be made to the South Plains College Foundation 1401 College Ave, Levelland, TX 79336
