Donald Patterson

Donald Wayne Patterson, 87, of Lubbock passed from this life on February 18, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 27, 2021, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at 11:00 am.

He was born in Ada, Oklahoma on February 28, 1933 to Harry and Maggie Patterson.  Donald had three brothers, Elwood, Alfred and Durward Patterson; and five sisters, Leona Patterson, Lora Parks, Gerline Caraway, Alene Bryant and Yvonne Richardson.

Donald married Georgia Hargett Patterson on February 15, 1958 in Levelland, Texas.  Together they had three children, Joyce , Dennis born August 18, 1960, and David born December 19, 1961 and passed away on July 11, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Maggie Patterson; son, David Glenn Patterson; brothers, Elwood, Alfred and Durward Patterson; and sisters, Leona Patterson, Lora Parks, Gerline Caraway and Alene Bryant.

Donald is survived by his son, Dennis W. Patterson; daughter, Joyce Watterson; sister, Yvonne Richardson; granddaughters, Shannon, Racheal, Erica and Ashley; grandsons, Donnie, McKenna and J.W.; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
