Donald Kidd

Donald W. Kidd, 83, of Levelland passed away on July 24, 2018 in Lubbock. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 27, 2018, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

Don was born December 30, 1934 in Sweetwater Texas. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Don is most notable for his more than 50 years of work as a mechanic.

Those who remember Don will miss his quick wit, love of a good joke and generous nature.

He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Belva Kidd of Spade, two brothers Mitchell (Butch) Kidd and Zale (Flea) Kidd.

Don is survived by his wife of 60 years Paulena; his sister Mayme Alice of Monmouth, Ill; two sons Dorian Kidd (Monica) of Levelland and Carey Kidd (Ed Heal) of Creston Ill. His legacy lives on through his grandsons, Rhett Kidd (Denise) of Slocum TX, and Zachary Kidd (Ashlea) of Levelland; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, and Keithan Kidd; and numerous others he welcomed into his family that have been privileged enough to call him Papa.
