David Diggs

David L (Jimmy) Diggs, 71 of Lubbock, left this earth January 25, 2017 to be with his Lord. He was preceded in death by his father Lee G. Diggs, his mother Billie Sue (Stephens) Diggs and youngest brother Dennis (Jake) Diggs. He was born December 31, 1945 in Lubbock Texas. He married his best friend and high school sweetheart, Brenda (Perrin) Diggs on June 23, 1967.

David was a carpenter and loved to build cabinets. He also competed with handguns on the national level. He loved his family dearly and was a faithful friend to those close to him.

He is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter, Kirstie Diggs of Lubbock, son Jeremy Diggs and wife Kristie of Sundown, Texas. He is also survived by a brother, Mike Diggs & wife Vicki of Spur, Texas, granddaughters Tori Pritchett and husband JP, Erika Diggs, Riley Diggs, Tatum Diggs, grandson, Hunter Coleman and two great-grandsons Jaxon Pritchett and Cooper Pritchett. He is also survived by a niece, Erin Posey, nephew, Zack Diggs and many friends.

David was a Master Mason of Wolfforth Frenship Lodge 1447, a 32nd deg. Scottish Rite Mason and York Rite Mason. David was a graduate of Sundown High School and South Plains College with an Associates degree in Business Administration.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at the family residence at 2205 36th St., Lubbock, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, February 2nd at Krestridge Funeral Home at 505 Austin Street, Levelland, Texas 79336.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202 or the Scottish Rite Learning Center of Lubbock, 1101 70th St, Lubbock, Texas 79412.
