Daphne Faye Harrison

Daphne Faye Scarborough was born December 1, 1926 in Scurry County, Texas to Hardy and Coy Scarborough.  

She left us to be with her Lord and Savior February 16, 2022 at the age of 95.

Daphne married W.C. (Dub) Harrison February 3, 1949 in Snyder, Texas.  She was a bookkeeper by profession.  Daphne enjoyed singing in the church choir, decorating, Study Club, working elections and the Yoakum County Museum.  She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and loved her family with a sacrificial and sure love.  She was a woman of dignity and class!  We will miss her and know we will be reunited.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Deborah Faye Marion; brother, Hollis Scarborough; and sisters, Mary Green and Dana Whitson.

Daphne is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Tim) Nelson; son-in-law, Randy Marion; brother, Reg Scarborough; grandsons, Shane (Wendy) O'Keeffe, and Brendon (Kristie) O'Keeffe; great granddaughters, Korbyn (Ty) Hirsch and Bryanna O'Keeffe; and great-great grandson, Oliver Hirsch.

She was a resident of Shinery Oaks Community for the last five years of her life.  We thank each of you for the love and care you gave her.  The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church Denver City or the Yoakum County Museum.
