Dallas Ray Toney

Dallas Ray Toney, 92, of Levelland passed from this life on October 28, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born December 20, 1929 in Clayton, New Mexico to G.C. and Blanche Toney. 

Ray served our country in the United States Army from 1949 to 1950 and was part of the Atomic Energy Commission.  From 1964 to 1994 he worked for Southwestern Public Service as a lineman and general foreman.  Ray was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, G.C. and Blanche Toney; daughter, Gayla Teeters; and brothers, Clyde Toney, Don Toney and Jimmy Toney.

Ray is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy Toney; son, Dallas Ray (Kim) Toney of Denver City; daughter, Rhonda (Hugh) Bradley of Levelland; 4 grandchildren, Derek Bradley, Stephanie Hodge, Seth Teeters and Kandice O’Dell; 10 great grandchildren, Keeton Hodge Martinez, Emma Hodge, Miley Hodge, Jaxon Hodge, Dylan Bradley, Jeremy Bradley, Mia Bradley, Ian Bradley, Peyton O’Dell and Deklyn O’Dell; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Stella Martinez and Liam Rodriguez.
