Cullen Taylor

Cullen Taylor, 70, of Levelland passed from this life on December 1, 2018 in Lubbock. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Christ United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Lubbock.

He was born in Rosebud, Texas on April 21, 1948 to the late J.T. and Charlie B. Taylor. Cullen moved to Littlefield, Texas, along with his parents and siblings, in 1954; to Olton, Texas in 1955; and Levelland, Texas in 1962. He also lived in Lubbock, Texas for many years before moving back to Levelland. Cullen was employed at the Levelland Housing Authority for 18 years.

Cullen was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. Taylor and Charlie B. Milligan Taylor; and a brother, Fred Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bettye Foley Taylor of Levelland, Texas; sister, Bettye J. Taylor of Lubbock, Texas; daughter, Cullena Taylor of Levelland, Texas; sons, Shawn Taylor and Michael Taylor both of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, T'Andra Golightly, Tauna Golightly, Tara Taylor and Tiah Taylor all of Levelland, Texas, Dominique Taylor, Troy Taylor, Demarcus Taylor and Alexandra Taylor all of Dallas, Texas; great grandchildren, Ka'Tya Bolden, Amaya Mooring, and Amaje Mooring all of Levelland, Texas; aunt, Marjorie Whitfield of Rosebud, Texas; and numerous cousins and friends.

Cullen will be truly missed by his wife, sister, kids, and grandkids, and will be loved and cherished continually in their hearts.
