Michael Bennett RunningWolf, 63, of Levelland passed away on June 12, 2017. Visitation was held on Friday, June 16, 2017, at Krestridge Funeral Home.

Michael was born in Richmond Hill, NYC, Queens Co, NY on June 25, 1953. He grew up in Searsport and Freeport, ME. Michael lived in California, Wyoming, and New Mexico prior to living in Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alden ''Ben'' Webster Bennett and his mother, Elizabeth ''Betty'' Catalano Bennett.

Michael is survived by his son, Joseph RunningWolf of Belen, NM; brothers, David (Vilma) Bennett of Marion, Iowa, Jim (Rose) Bennett of Santa Rosa, CA, and Tim (Kathi) Bennett of Mandan, ND; and sisters, Patti (Gene) Lowery of Panama City, FL, Barbara (Michael) Honeycutt of Los Chavez, NM, Lisa (Phil) Rutar of Casper, Wyoming, and Denise (Eric) Heinzen of Cheyenne, Wyoming.
