Carolina Reyna

Carolina Mesa Reyna, 55, of Whitharral, TX passed from this life on July 8, 2020 after a battle with ALS.

She was born on February 13, 1965 in Galveston, TX to Elijio Mesa and Lillie Rodriguez. She survived by her husband of 38 years, Rojelio Reyna, their five sons; JR Reyna, Rocky Reina, Freddie Reyna, Jimmy Reyna, Eddie Reyna, their spouses, and fourteen grandchildren. By her mother, siblings, and their spouses. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.

Carolina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, daughter, and friend. She was a very hard working person and a valuable member to the Whitharral community. She worked at Whitharral IDS for twenty-two years as a cafeteria lady. She loved her job, her co-workers, and all of her students. She loved to garden, sew, and craft and Christmas was her favorite holiday.

Viewing will be held at Krestridge Funeral Home on Sunday, July 12, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Whitharral Baptist Church on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in the Whitharral Cemetery.

A letter to my grandbabies:

The greatest love I’ve ever known is the love I have for my grandbabies. I want you to know that I will not be here in person but I will always be with you in your hearts.

I will be with you for every milestone, every event, every game, every pig show, every UIL competition, every dance recital, every heartache, every prom, and every graduation.

I promise to be with you through it all.
