Carl Lynn Rawlins

Carl Lynn Rawlins, 79, of Levelland passed away with his family by his side on Monday, February 3,2025 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18,2025 at Krestridge Funeral Home. 

Carl was born October 30,1945 in Dennison, Texas to Paul and Mildred Rawlins. He grew up most of his life in Levelland Texas, where he met Linda Curry, and they married in the fall of 1964. Together they had 4 kids. Carl was active in the local Levelland FFA Chapter, where two of his children showed animals and he helped numerous other kids with his time and his wisdom. Carl also worked for Amoco Pipeline/British Petroleum for well over 30 years. He loved traveling with his wife, and kids and later with his grandkids and he loved playing poker and gin with his close friends. He also loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and his great grandkids. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda, his sisters, Shirley and Glenda and his parents.

He is survived by his children Kimberly Estrada and husband, Eric of Kingwood Texas, Kyle Rawlins and wife, Melissa of Lubbock, Scott Rawlins of Levelland and Amber Friar and husband, Kenny of Wolfforth. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Makayla Rawlins, Kaide Rawlins, Austin Estrada, Victoria Estrada and Maddie Kay Friar and his four great-grandchildren, SJ, Maleni, Sylas and Mylee Marquez.
