Candelario Romero, Jr.

Candelario (Larry) Romero, Jr., 66, of Sundown passed from this life on September 7, 2020.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 11, 2020, at St. Michaels Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the Sundown Cemetery.

He was born August 5, 1954 in Austin to Candelario and Lilly (Moya) Romero.  Larry was a supervisor in the oilfield for 40 years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Lou Gonzalez and Terry Herrera; and brothers, Bobby Romero and Arturo Romero.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Erlinda P. Romero; children, Becky (Marcelino) Paiz, Larry (Belinda) Romero, Liz Romero and Bertha (Willis) Hogan; sisters, Cynthia (Gilbert) Alba and Cecilia Montoya; grandchildren, Christine Paiz, Veronica Paiz, Ruben Trevino III, Nathan Lara, Ryan Paiz, Abraham Bocanegra, Abi Acevedo, Johnny Acevedo, Diego Romero, Alex Bocanegra, Aria Hogan, Josh Hogan, Kobe Hogan, Brendan Hogan and Talia Acevedo; and great grandchildren, Kristopher Lara, Aidyn Lara, Christian Quintana, Alyssa Paiz and Malorie Paiz.
