Benjamin Jaquez

Benjamin Jaquez, 82, of Levelland passed from this life on May 19, 2021.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, May 24, 2021, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm at Krestridge Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born February 12, 1939 in Santa Isabel, Chihuahua, Chih to Gregorio Jaquez and Martina Enriquez.  Benjamin came to the United States in 1980.  For most of his adult life, he worked as a farm hand, and retired as a custodian at South Plains College.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Lucy Jaquez.

He is survived by his wife, Carmen Portillo; son, Tano Jaquez; daughters, Idalia Jaquez and husband Otilio Aguilera and Velia Martinez and husband Donnie Martinez; grandchildren, Pamela Aguilera, Benjamin Aguilera and Isack Aguilera; and great grandchildren, Leo, Julian, Fernanda, Zairy, Ismael, Rodrigo and Adriana.
