Benjamin De La Rosa

Benjamin De La Rosa, 59, of Whiteface passed from this life on May 22, 2023.  A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born in Morton on January 13, 1964 to Fidel Chavez De La Rosa and Theodola Ornelas De La Rosa.  Benjamin graduated from Three Way High School before attending South Plains College.  After graduating from SPC, he went on to Texas Tech University where he obtained his bachelor degree in accounting.

Benjamin loved his dog, Fancy.  He enjoyed all genres of music and gardening, especially growing his pineapple plant and various cacti.  Benjamin had a love for art and treasured his Salvador Dali print, which he referred to as his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Theodola De La Rosa; and siblings, Robert, Johnny and David.

Benjamin is survived by sisters, Oralia (Raul) Munoz and Virginia (Joe) Honesto; brother, Samuel (Janie) De La Rosa; and several nieces and nephews.
