Barbara Wood

Barbara Ann Finley Wood, 70, of Levelland passed away April 19, 2018 in Mansfield Methodist Hospital due to many health complications related to her life long battle with diabetes. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Krestridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at First Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

She was born May 15, 1947 in Eugene, Oregon to Pat and Addie Mae Finley. She graduated from Levelland High School and in 1968 married Albert Lee Wood, Jr. They raised their two girls, Tonetta Wood of Cedar Hill and Letesha Beardsley of Lubbock, in Levelland.

Barbara was an amazing Mom, wife, Grammy, Sissy and friend to many. She enjoyed serving God, cooking, playing games, watching her grandsons, and spending lots of time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Michael Finley; husband, Albert Wood, Jr.; daughters Tonetta Wood and Letesha Beardsley; grandsons, Kaeghan and Kaleb Beardsley; and lots of nephews, nieces and their families.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Barbara Wood.
