April Roberts

April Dawn Roberts was born June 13, 1975 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 24, 2018 at the early age of 43. April moved to Lubbock, Texas in 1979 with her parents who were serving in the military at Reese Air Force Base. She would spend most of her life in west Texas.

April had a love for life, a contagious laugh, and loved singing and dancing. She enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles. On February 3, 2003, April brought the love of her life, Cheston Blake Sammons, into this world. She loved her son, her family and friends fiercely.

April was preceded in death by her father, Paul Roberts; her maternal grandfather, as well as both paternal grandparents. She is survived by her son, Cheston Sammons of Lubbock; her mother, Paula Roberts of Levelland; her stepfather, Ronnie Burns of Rockwall, Texas; and her grandmother, Rose Blair of Storm Lake, Iowa. She also leaves behind two sisters, Heather Walters of Levelland and Jennifer Flowers of Dallas; brother, Seth Roberts; stepbrother, Kevin Burns of Houston; three nieces; and a nephew on the way. She is also survived by many more extended family and friends.

The Memorial Service will be at South Plains Church, 1421 Cactus Drive, Levelland, Texas at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018.
