Anna Spencer

Anna Ruth Spencer, 87, of Levelland passed away from this life on June 4, 2021 at her home.  A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Krestridge Funeral with Allen Whitley officiating.

Anna was born on October 3, 1933 in Ola, Arkansas to Paul Edgar and Sally Ruth Roberts. After graduating from high school, she and her late ex-husband-built cotton gins and raised two beautiful daughters. After their divorce, she became a CNA and built her life in west Texas.  Anna always strived to serve others. The last half of her life was consumed with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything.  She was loved and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sue Crumpler.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her sister, Carolyn Roberts of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughters, Pam Tindel and Becky Petty of Levelland, Texas; granddaughter, Amy Zapata and husband, Alex of Levelland, Texas ; grandsons, Brian Tindel and wife, Jessica of Midlothian, Texas, Chris Hamm and wife Kristi of Coupland, Texas and Cory Hamm of Dallas, Texas along with thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or planting a tree in her memory.
