Anna Cardenas

Anna Elizabeth Cardenas, age 69, of Levelland, Texas passed away Saturday evening, July 24th, 2021.

She was born November 17, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, a daughter of the late Pat and Stella Sause.

Anna was preceded in death by her daughter Delfina Maldonado, three grandchildren Alexus Cortez, Rafael Tapia, Rayven Renee Maldonado; son-in-law Joe Garcia.

Anna is survived by her husband David Cardenas of 25 years. Four sisters Helen Patino, Patty Barnett, Mary Ann Ariana and Dolores Chazaretta. One daughter, Anna Marie Garcia; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond Maldonado and Sonia Cope. Eight grandchildren, Angelica De Los Santos, Desire’ Santiago, Michelle Cortez, Carlos Jr Montemayor, Sanora Montemayor, Xaundra Winchester, Amy Brown, Ricky Woods, Char’dnay Woods. 9 great grandchildren Ally Santiago, Andrew Rodriguez, Lucas Santiago, Max Santiago, DJ Graham, Zarayvien, Zhariah and Bexida Woods and Gabriel De Los Santos.

Anna was a member of Legacy Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She collected a variety of angels and crosses. She spent her time going to yard sales, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Anna was a strong, determine and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her everyday.

Visitation will be Friday July 30, 2021 at Krestridge funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be 2:00 Pm Friday at Krestridge Funeral Home’s  Chapel.
