Alberto G. Garcia

Alberto G. Garcia, 87, of Plains passed from this life on August 26, 2023.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 5:00- 7:00 pm with the reading of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton. Interment will follow in the Morton Memorial Cemetery.

He was born January 31, 1936 in Durango, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jesus Guereca and Maria Irene Garcia Guereca. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

Alberto was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louisa S. Garcia; son, Alberto Guereca Isias; one brother and two sisters.

He is survived by is his children, Mary Jane Cazares (Jaime), Sylvia Martinez (Alfred), Diann Ramon (Ismael), Reyna Guereca Isaias, Tere Guereca Isaias, Franciso Javier Guereca, Alfredo Guereca and Aurturo Guereca; along with 32 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
