Abel Garza

Abel Garza, 56, of Levelland passed from this life on July 18, 2020.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, July 20, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at St. Michaels Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.

He was born September 20, 1963 in Levelland to Jesse O. Garza and Maria (Quezada) Garza.  Abel married Teresa Mendez on August 3, 1984 in Levelland.  He had been employed as a lease operator with XTO/Exxon since 2008.  Abel was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.

Abel was preceded in death by his father, Jesse O. Garza; and mother, Maria Q. Garza.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Terri; son, Brian (Courtney) Mendez; daughter, Tiffany Garza; grandchildren, Logan Anthony, Ariel Ojeda, Bryden Mendez, Brylee Mendez, and Damien Ojeda; siblings, Jesse Garza, Jr., Richard (San Juana) Garza, Mollie (Hector) Escamilla, Luis (Denise) Garza, Anna Garza, Stephen Garza, Chris (Mika) Garza, and  Melinda (Jared) Villafranco; and mother-in-law, Maria Mendez.
